Frequently asked questions

What is the Obsidian Tracker?

The Obsidian Tracker is a multi-platform portfolio tracker built around the redundancy-first framework. It shows every position across every system on one screen, logs daily snapshots of capital and yield, tags each transaction by function layer (on-ramp, yield venue, redundancy, growth), and reports monthly inflows and rebalances. Educational only, not financial advice.

How is the Tracker different from a net-worth app?

A net-worth app gives you one total. The Tracker gives you the shape of the stack: which function slot each platform fills, whether one slot is doing too much (a concentration read), and how the layers move over time. It is a system view, not just a number.

How do I get the Tracker?

The Tracker is included with an Obsidian Metrics account, and the Skool community is free to join. Open it at tracker.obsidian-metrics.com after signing in.

Does the Tracker give financial advice or projections?

No. The interface is compliance-aware by design: no projections, no advice copy, and no return promises. It records what you enter and organizes it by function. Verify the current state of any platform on its official site before making any decision.
